The Potentials of the internet and the Gospel

The gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ is a message. It is one message that has influenced the structures of history and forged the destinies of men much more an in comparison to any other. 

The gospel is simply the truth and according to Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome (D.D.), President of the Believers Loveworld Nation Inc, "truth is reality". 

The number one potential of the internet in fostering the gospel of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is REACH. 

"In the application of statistics to advertising and media analysis, reach refers to the total number of different people or households exposed, at least once, to a medium during a given period. Reach should not be confused with the number of people who will actually be exposed to and consume the advertising, though. It is just the number of people who are exposed to the medium and therefore have an opportunity to see or hear the ad or commercial. Reach may be stated either as an absolute number or as a fraction of a given population (for instance 'TV households', 'men' or 'those aged 25–35')" (Wikipedia)

How many people are exposed to the truth at every period of time?

Book of John 8:32 says "Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"

18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

God is making an appeal to the world through us and He does that according to your reach or the number of people you can influence.

The anointing for soul winning is supplied according to the number of people you can influence. So, if you increase the sphere of contacts under your influence, God automatically changes your angels and the manner of supply that comes to you. This is what happens in Partnership. If you become a Partner, your money gives you access to purchase the right of global reach, so God, in turn, responds to you by increasing your supply.

The Internet gives you that global reach. And with you being a partner and an online evangelist, you are in for something very big. God does not play with influential people.

Soul winning is the major work of a Christian and the internet can be used as a medium to reach many unsaved souls and unchurched souls within a short period of time.

It is now time for the church to learn the technology on the internet and use it for the gospel. Remember, no good thing comes to any man except it be given to him from above.

How many people can you reach by manually going street to street?

The Internet has approximately 3.5 billion souls waiting to be influenced through your device.
